Ingredients:
  • 500 grams of cow eye, cleaned and washed thoroughly
  • 1 lb beef, cut into small cubes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2-3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-3 bay leaves
  • 1 lemongrass stalk, bruised
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4-5 cloves
  • 4-5 cardamom pods
  • 8-10 cups water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fried shallots and green onions for garnish

Instructions:
  1. Rinse the whole cow eye thoroughly under running water and pat dry with paper towels.
